Accessing disabled facilities in Leeds

Toilets suitable for disabled people are often kept locked to prevent vandalism. However, you do not always have to find a member of staff to ask for access, if you have a RADAR key. RADAR keys are used to gain access to 1000s of disabled toilets nationally. There are 36 RADAR accessible toilets in Leeds, including Kirkgate Market, Leeds bus and railway stations, Elland Road Stadium and a number of city centre bars and shops.

There is a small charge (£3-£4) to purchase a key. They are available in Leeds from Dial Leeds, who can be contacted on 0113 214 3630 or from Leeds City Council’s One Stop Shop on Great George Street in the city centre.

You will be able to use your key at any RADAR accessible toilet in the UK.
